Mini Monsters!

Today we had a visit from Ed and his wonderful creatures! We found out more about Australian animals and other animals from around the world. We learned many new facts about our new 'friends' and the children asked lots of relevant and interesting questions.



We met Gary and Toby the African land snails.

We met Mildred and Myrtle the Millipedes.

We also met 22 year old Trinny the tarantula!

Next up was Winston the bearded dragon from Australia.

 Finally Taco the snake!

Visit from the firemen!

What an exciting afternoon! Diss Fire Service came to visit and talked to us about modern day fire fighting. We learned about fire safety and also about the 'stop, drop and roll' technique.

Theo kindly demonstrated 'stop, drop and roll'.

And of course the bit we all enjoyed the most....squirting the hose!

So exciting!

They also let us hear the siren on the way out!
