The class have really enjoyed our Castles topic, especially our most recent DT unit! They designed, made and evaluated their wonderful model castles. The children learnt and used a range of skills and showed great resilience when faced with some of the more difficult mechanisms such as the drawbridge. A really fun, creative week.

The children enjoyed listening to the story Look Up! by Nathan Bryon and Dapo Adeola. Last week, they found out lots of facts about meteor showers, and this week they designed they own flyers just like the character Rocket. They chose their own pictures and worked really hard to include a bold title and a persuasive paragraph. The flyers are currently hanging from the washing line in the classroom, so apologies that the photos are not that great!
